4.7 All Things Made New

And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he  said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” – Revelation 21:5

To wrap up the good news of the gospel message, we now give a glimpse of the future that waits for those who call on the name of Jesus. What we see around us in this world today is not all we as Christians have to look forward in the future, for all eternity. God has promised to make all things new!

Looking back, we have seen how the God’s initial creation was perfect, without sin, suffering, disease or death.; it was “very good”. Then man (Eve and then Adam) disobeyed God, and mankind, fell into sin under bondage to Satan, the devil. God’s creation was also “cursed” at that same time; it is that cursed creation which is still “groaning” under the curse that we see around us today.

So first, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to redeem mankind – all who choose to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior via His sacrificial death as atonement for their sins.

But finally, at the end of time (actually, the end of this age, the church age), God has promised to “wipe away every tear”, and that “there will be no more death”, and we will be “raised to eternal life” with Christ. Christ will dwell among us and will be our Lord and our Light. Nothing unclean or sinful will enter heaven! On the Great Day of Judgment, all things sinful, and everyone who died in sin, will be thrown into the lake of fire, eternal death. God will eradicate everything sinful from the new heaven and earth.

This is why being covered by the blood of Christ, which clothes you in His righteousness, is so important.

We will be given new heavenly immortal bodies also, free from the issues we have today in our mortal fleshly bodies. When you are raised up on the last day with Christ, to meet Him in the air, is when your immortal spirit will be united with your new immortal body. How amazing will that be!

We will see God (and Christ) as They really are – in the fullness of Their awesome glory and holiness. Amazing wonders await us, in eternal life in heaven with Jesus.

Suffice it to say that heaven will be amazing beyond our wildest dreams.

And now friend, I have declared to you and you have read/heard the gospel message of hope in Jesus Christ from start to finish without distortion and false teachings of man. The eternal question is what will you do with it? Will you act on it and be wise or ignore it and be what the Bible calls a fool?

Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God. – Acts 20:26-27

And with that, I draw the book to a close. May God grant you His wisdom and grace in this eternal matter (your eternal soul is at stake), through His Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

And the devil who deceived them [all those who followed him instead of Christ] was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. – Revelation 20:10

“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” – Matthew 25:31-46

Then I saw a great white throne [on the Great Day of Judgment] and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. – Revelation 20:11-15

But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. – 2 Peter 3:13

And nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it [the Heavenly New Jerusalem], but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. – Revelation 21:27

They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” – Revelation 5:16-17

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” – Revelation 21:1-4

And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.” – Revelation 21:5-6

I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. – Revelation 21:22-27

Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. – Revelation 22:1-5

“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. – Revelation 22:12-14

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. – Revelation 22:17

He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. – Revelation 22:20-21
