(And Other “End of World” Prophesies)
This one is easily handled: any person or church/group/sect/cult that is making End-of-World prophesies, setting specific dates for Jesus’ return, etc., is not a true Christian church – period! Scripture is clear that God, and God alone, knows the date and timing of Christ’s return and the Day of Judgment. Scripture, and all prophesy, was finalized and sealed long ago.
Many of the things which you hear proclaimed to be so-called “end-times” prophecies (as in related to the second coming of Christ) aren’t, in fact, even “end-times” prophecies at all – for they have already fulfillment hundreds of years ago during the persecutions of the early church under Rome Pagan and Rome Papal.
Whenever you see end-of-world prophesies or other teachings which claim to be inspired by “secret new revelations” or “visions” from God that someone has had, run as fast and as far away from that person or group as you can. They are of the devil, not of the Lord. Additionally, wherever you find this false teaching, you will surely find other false teachings from the same group as well.
