that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

6.28 Universalism False Teaching

You are in Beware the Wolves -> List of False Teachings

(Everyone Will Ultimately be Saved)

The false teaching called Universalism, or “Universal Reconciliation,” comes in a few different flavors, but it generally teaches that God will ultimately save every human who has ever lived to be with Him in heaven. Universalism is a modern liberal attempt to legitimize all religions as valid, regardless of whatever they make up and believe, claiming there are many paths to heaven. This teaching is in clear contradiction to the direct (and literal) statements of Jesus: “for there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all” (1 Timothy 2:5-6), “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6), and “there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name [the name of Jesus] under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Choose wisely which to believe: the opinions of man or the Word of God.
