7.13 Recursos Útiles

Hoy tenemos la suerte de tener a nuestra disposición los escritos de muchos hombres maravillosos de Dios que nos han precedido, verdaderos santos de la fe, algunos de los cuales también dieron su vida como mártires. Ahora más que nunca en la historia, tenemos a nuestra disposición una gran cantidad de información para leer y aprender, y la libertad de leer abiertamente estos materiales.[1] Los recursos que se enumeran a continuación son útiles y están en su mayoría libres de enseñanzas falsas. Sin embargo, se debe tener mucho discernimiento al leer, recomendar y utilizar cualquier material no inspirado escrito por el hombre.[2]

Algunos de los libros están agotados y pueden ser difíciles de encontrar, pero te recomiendo que trates de encontrar y leer ediciones que se imprimieron lo más cerca posible de la fecha de publicación del autor original, ya que las revisiones más recientes ofrecen una nueva oportunidad para que los editores y las editoriales tuerzan, distorsionen o incluso reescriban el contenido del autor original e introduzcan sus propias doctrinas y enseñanzas falsas. Y por último, antes de comprar cualquier libro, mira qué otros libros ha publicado ese mismo autor (o editorial); al hacerlo, entenderás si se puede confiar en que sus libros estén de acuerdo con las Escrituras.
